The work presented for this project was monumental and inherently distinctive. We took the GULF racing car design concept and used the latest VW T6.1 as our base model. Rather than adhere to the standard two-tone colour schemes typical of contemporary VW California models, we chose to approach the project from a different angle, bringing the aesthetic closer to the classic form inspired by the VW T1 Bulli design.

Particular emphasis in this project lies in the meticulousness of our approach. We made the decision to imbue the windows and individual components of the automobile with an appearance reminiscent of the classic model. Instead of creating these elements in a graphic editor, the company's CEO, Mr. Guido Sax, found a way to gain access to the closed community of owners and restorers of the T1 classic model. Under strict confidentiality regarding the identity of the owner and the vehicle's location, a photoshoot was arranged, capturing the windows, radiator grilles, and other minor details characteristic of this model.

The development of the final design involved extensive work, including the creation of body element templates to ensure seamless integration of all components.
This project turned out to be one of the most meticulously crafted and intricately developed endeavors throughout my tenure at SAX Design.
